I finally bought my first SOAP & GLORY product!!! While browsing Sephora the other day...doing some Christmas shopping, I couldn't help but pick up a few things for myself.  I have seen so many good reviews on Soap & Glory products, so I decided to pick one up!

I got the Hand Food Hydrating Hand Cream....and oh my goodness it was a great choice! Not only does the lotion smell great, but it feels amazing!  This little container is the perfect size to just throw in your purse and take on the go!

It leaves your hands suuuuuper hydrated, but doesn't make them too oily (big plus).

I highly recommend this brand of hand cream for those of you who love keeping your hands soft and smelling great!

You can find it at Sephora for about $12

MAC is known for their affordable, yet high-quality makeup.  Although it's more affordable than many brands, I still find it quite expensive.  A couple of months ago, I decided to finally purchase the MAC Rebel decision ever.  Rebel is a blue-based berry shade that is unbelievably flattering.  Not only does it work perfectly for the Fall and Winter makes your teeth look extremely white!  Because it is a satin finish, the application is quite smooth - and much smoother than the matte finish lipsticks, which tend to leave your lips chalky.  Rebel is long-lasting and is perfect for wearing all day long.  Since it is such a deep cranberry shade, it stains your lips for quite some time, which is great if you don't have a lot of time to reapply during the long work day.

I highly recommend purchasing the MAC Rebel Lipstick if anyone is looking for their next buy :)

I've been wearing Rebel in a lot of my recent pictures on Instagram and Twitter!

Like this lovely selfie I posted on my Twitter (hahaha)

My family and I were lucky enough to go on vacation to Yosemite National Park all last week.  By lucky...I mean the Government Shutdown ended two days before our trip (that we scheduled 5 months ago!).  We used to go to Yosemite every Easter break for a week, have Easter Sunday Brunch at the Awahnee Hotel, and enjoy RV camping and eating the best food ever, courtesy of my mom.

Because of school and Spring Break schedules, we haven't been to Yosemite for 12 years....and this was our first trip back :)  Unfortunately one of my sisters (and her hubby and daughter) weren't able to go with us, but I can't wait to go as a whole big family next year!  It was a bit different this time...since all of the waterfalls and lakes did not have water.  I guess it's normal for this time of year.  Nonetheless, the views, the weather, everything was perfect.

My favorite thing would have to be the hundreds and hundreds of beautiful trees with yellow leaves everywhere.  It was truly breathtaking.

Oh...and I dyed my hair a darker brown/red and chopped off 10 inches since I last blogged!

Here are just a few of the pics I wanted to share...

The beautiful Half Dome

My first of seven plates at The Awahnee Brunch

This is the meadow we biked and walked across every day

Channeling my inner eskimo :)

Ready for a nice day with my mom and sister!

The views were breathtaking!

Stacked rocks at Mirror Lake....with Half Dome in the back!

The fam bam!

Walking to Yosemite Falls...such beautiful trees!

Yellow leaves, pink leaves....everywhere!

Nightly campfires with s'mores were a must!

I loved this funky tree!

P.S. Thanks for reading my truly makes my day :)
I've been more active on Twitter and Instagram lately, so feel free to follow.

I had so much fun decorating and party-planning for my niece's 1st Birthday Party at a neighborhood park.  There were over 90 people that joined us, so it was a big one! We had water balloons, a delicious cake, a mini "smasher cake" just for Natalie, pictures hanging up high, flowers galore (making the centerpieces was my favorite part), a couple of cute banners made by my sister and friend, a chalkboard for an Instagram hashtag (I'm so glad I finally have a chalkboard now), and loads and loads of food!  We feasted on tri-tip sandwiches, a corn flakes cheesy potato dish, hot link sausages, fruit, salsas, 7-layer dips, chinese chicken salad, mexican wontons, and chicken wings to name a few.  I think she enjoyed herself...we had so much fun!  Thanks to Pinterest for inspiring me with a ton of ideas haha.

I wish this was my life every, mason jars, raffia, and flowers!

Raffia extensions anyone? Hahaha

Here are the finished results....the centerpieces :)

The chalkboard Instagram sign I created!

The happy birthday girl!

The Infamous Smasher Cake!

Group shot of those of us who came early to set up! And Natalie smiling for the camera :)

I just wanted to share a few of the pics we captured from the party.  Thanks to each and every one of you for reading my blog.

My one and only beautiful niece had her very first birthday on August 15th!  I finally decided what I wanted to get Rainbow Sandals! If you've never heard of Rainbow Sandals...they're just amazing, great-quality flip flops.  I sadly don't even have a pair of my own (they're about $50)....but my sisters do! At least my niece will match her mommy and her other Auntie :)

And thennnnnn.......after I bought the mini Rainbow Sandals, I saw these!! Pink/Denim Vans Sneakers!!! Aren't they cute?! I had to get them too!  My niece was looking so stylish at her birthday party....she wore the Vans to her party :)

Everything mini/baby is so hard to resist!! I can't believe I bought her both pairs of shoes...but she's so worth it :) Hahaha and of course I had to do a little photo shoot of the shoes I got her.  You should see the two pairs of shoes that my mom got her!!

I'll be sharing the pics from her 1st Birthday Party very soon!! Decorating/party prepping for that was so much fun! Even though there were almost 100 people attending!

Okay...I went a little crazy and bought four new nail polishes the other day.  Yes...I know.  I don't need any more nail polish, but I just couldn't resist!

I bought all four of these from Wal-Mart with my gift card and I am in love with all four of them!

From Left to Right:

Milani Nail Lacquer in Lavender Fizz
Sinful Colors Professional in Tempest
Sinful Colors Professional in Matte Dream On
FLOWER in Good Bud-dy

I am absolutely obsessed with purple...if you couldn't tell, and I have been eyeing the Milani purple shimmer nail polish for a while.  I am so glad I finally purchased it!   Right now, I have the Tempest on my nails, with the Lavender Fizz on my accent nail....and I am in love!  Both of the formulas are perfect!  Tempest is probably one of my absolute favorite shades I have ever worn, and I know I'll be repurchasing it in the future.  Also, I have never been so happy with a glitter nail polish before! The glitter in the Lavender Fizz is so fine and it looks so rich! It's hard to believe it is only a few dollars.

I put the pink Dream On nail polish on my toes! I had no idea it was a matte polish until it dried.  Oops! It is such a fun, bright color that I couldn't resist picking it up....but I wish it were the normal shiny finish instead of the matte finish.  All that being said, I still love it! It is a great formula, isn't sticky, and is super smooth when applying.

I have yet to try the Drew Barrymore Flower nail polish in Good Bud-dy, but I just know it's going to be amazing! I mean...look at that color!

I just wanted to share my purchases with you lovely ladies!
Do you like the colors I chose?

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaackkkkk!!!!!!  Sorry for the delay...but I'm happy to say I'm back to the blogging world! Ahhhh.  Thank you all for your kind words of encouragement while I have been stressing at work doing 3 jobs (today I was doing 5!)  I'm hoping it'll get better soon...or I hope they give me a raise! (yeah right)

One of my favorite things about going to school was buying office supplies! It used to be so fun to get the new hot pencils...I remember having *NSYNC pencils, *NSYNC folders, *NSYNC binders, .....the list goes on! Sadly, I have graduated from college and don't need to buy school supplies anymore. So instead, I decided to buy new office supplies!! WOO!

I don't know why, but I wanted to share my favorite office/school supplies!

Fine Point Sharpies in amazinggggg colors

Papermate Flair Felt-Tip Pens
Papermate Sharpwriter Mechanical Pencils

Pilot G2 Retractable Premium Gel Ink Roller Ball Pens (Bolder is better)

I purchased these all from Wal-Mart.  Yes. Wal-Mart.  (I am not a fan of Wal-Mart, but I had a gift card to use...and they have amazingly cheap prices)

Are any of you obsessed with buying office supplies like I  am? What are your faves?

I hope you're all having a fantastic week!

...I work at a small company with 7 full-time employees.  One just quit (no 2-weeks notice), and one just had her baby (yay!) so she is on maternity starting from yesterday, I have had to do three jobs.

Today was a tough, long day....and it's going to be a busy several (hopefully not too many) weeks month or two ahead. I won't be able to blog much :(

Thanks for visiting my blog anyways!

This morning my sister and I had breakfast at the Blackbird Cafe! It's a cute little neighborhood cafe near where she lives.

My sister got an iced coffee and the Dos Caballeros....
and I got a HUGE bowl of Hot Chocolate, Coffee, and the Breakfast Quesadilla.

Everything...and I mean everything was delicious.  We specifically sat outside in the patio, so we could get great pictures of the food -- pure dedication haha. The atmosphere of the cafe is very casual and family-friendly.  There were even a few people sitting in the patio area who brought their dogs!

I hope you're all having a great Sunday!

It's that time again!!! Getting a little package in the mail every month is such a treat!! I was very impressed with the contents of my Glam Bag this month......let me show you what I got!!

As you can see, the items came in a bright neon pink clean tube-shaped bag.  It's definitely not my favorite looking bag, but it's very appropriate for the Summer!

The first item I noticed was the BH Cosmetics "California Collection" eyeshadow palette trio.  The purple shade is from the 'BH Hollywood' palette, the bronze/taupe shade is from the 'BH San Francisco' palette, and the yellow gold shade is from the 'BH Malibu' palette.  They were so tricky!! They gave us a shade from three different palettes -- a pretty smart marketing scheme...since if we like a color, we'll obviously want to buy the whole palette it comes in.

I am a huge fan of purple eyeshadow on brown eyes, but from the swatch, the purple shade seemed to be a bit light in color-payoff. The San Francisco shade seems more of my style -- a shimmery neutral color.  You can never go wrong with neutrals!! I can't wait to try out all three of these!

The other four items included in the Glam Bag were:

Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Renewal Beach Spray
First of all...this spray bottle is HUGE!!  This product alone makes this $10/month ipsy subscription worth it.  I am always willing to try out beach sprays, even though my hair is straight (thanks to being half Japanese....thanks, mom).  I couldn't wait and have used this beach spray twice in the past week.  It smells like the beach.  There's no question about that.  I noticed that it actually did add a lot of texture and spunk to my hair.  What a great sample product!

Pop Beauty Pouty Pop Crayon in Fuchsia Flirt
Lip products are my love! And easy crayons like this make life so much easier! This Fuchsia Flirt shade is actually more of a baby pink shade when I applied it to my lips....not so much fuchsia.  It has a twist-up bottom, so you don't have to worry about bringing a pencil sharpener in your purse.  So convenient!  The crayon applies extremely smooth and is even shiny!

Benefit Benetint
Let's all just take a moment of silence for this Benetint.
Okay.  I have been wanting to purchase Benetint for YEARS! For some reason, every time I walk into ULTA or Sephora, I HAVE to try on Benetint....and yet I have never purchased it.  Crazy, right?! Anyways, I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ...O excited that this teeny tiny bottle of Benetint was in my bag this month.  I practically squealed when I saw it! Benetint can be used on your cheeks as a blush, or on your lips as a very light lip stain.  It has such a beautiful and yummy rose smell to it.  It is to die for.  It is worth all of the hype.  I will be using it for my lips -- not so much for my cheeks -- for just a natural looking pink tint.  Thank you, ipsy!!!

COOLA Mineral Sunscreen Tinted Moisturizer
This is the only product that I wasn't very excited about.  I've heard of the COOLA brand before, because I've received a mini bottle of sunscreen in a previous box.  This, however, is a tinted moisturizer.  More intriguing, but just not as exciting.  It claim to be 20 SPF and have environmental protection (whatever that means).  Small samples like this are just not my cup of tea, but that won't stop me from trying it :) You never could be amazing!

I hope you enjoyed seeing the contents of my July Glam Bag!

Do any of you have this same subscription?! Did you get the same items as me?!

Thank you to Carrieanne and Lisa from the cute blog called "Beauties Unlocked" for tagging me in this post.  Check out their blog (full of makeup, nails, skincare, and more) and follow them on Bloglovin!

I've never done a "TAG" blog post before, but there's always a first for everything.  I hope you guys enjoy this  :)

What do you order at Starbucks?
I like to change it up! If the sun is out, I'll get a Venti Black Tea Lemonade...sweetened of course (I'm drinking one as I type).  I also love the Iced Caramel Macchiatos with extra caramel drizzle and no whipped cream.  Or the Caramel Frappuccino with no whipped cream.  Can you tell I like caramel?

If it's cooler, I'll usually get a Hot Caramel Macchiato or a Hot Chocolate.  Mmmmm Starbucks.  I'm sure all of you that follow me on Twitter and Instagram know that I love Starbucks like no other.

What's one thing in your closet you can't live without?
High-waisted black pants/leggings. I think high-waited pants are so flattering and they can easily be paired with everything. Oh...and they're so comfy!

What's one thing people don't know about you?
Although I LOVE makeup the school I went to (Kindergarten through 8th Grade), we weren't allowed to wear ANY makeup.  When I graduated 8th grade and was going to begin High School, my sister got me a little makeup bag full of the essentials...and I only more recently began getting really into it (10 years later).  I applaud everyone who can pull off a no-makeup look every day, but I honestly enjoy putting on makeup every day, so might as well!

What's one thing you want to do before you die?
I want to travel.  I live in California and have only traveled to Hawaii (when I was 6 years old) and Las Vegas, NV (not considered traveling in my mind).  If I had enough money to travel, I would love to go to New York, Italy, France, England, Greece, Ireland, Canada, and name a few.

What's one food you cant live without?
Ranch.  Preferably french fries and ranch!

What's one quote you live by?
When all else fails, take a nap

What do you like and dislike about the blogging community?
I love learning about new products...whether they are makeup, hair, food, or skincare products. I am a huge fan of photography, so I especially love blogs that have amazing photos -- especially those food blogs! I like to know about other products before purchasing them, know about restaurants before visiting them, and it's always fun to see blogs of people that live all over the world.  I really like connecting with other bloggers throughout the world....hopefully I'd be able to visit some of those places one day!

The thing I dislike is the unnecessary comments...the "spam." If you're going to post a one-word comment like "nice" and leave a million links, I'd rather not have the comment at all.  Or the ones that are "I'll follow you if you follow me."  I'd rather have followers who genuinely enjoy reading my blog...instead of those looking for numbers :(

What's your number 1 song on iTunes/iPod?
Ooh this is a tough one!  My favorite this week is:
Redneck Crazy - Tyler Farr

What kind of style would you describe yourself as having?
I'm all over the place! A little girly, a bit trendy, sometimes preppy, sometimes casual chic. My style is too hard to describe!

Favorite Number?
My favorite number has to be 26....I hate odd numbers.

Two hobbies?
Eating and shopping.  Yep.  I said it.  I love eating -- I'm a true foodie.  And I can shop for hours on end! If I were rich, I'd shop every day all day.  Even online shopping/browsing makes me happy :) Oh and I love to bake! And I LOVE photography.  Haha that wasn't two.  Oh well.

Two pet peeves?
In the classroom with a white-board, I hate it when the teacher or professor erases the white board and leaves one little dot or line. I just want to get out of my seat and erase it for them haha.

Another pet peeve that I can think of is when people post a vague Facebook status...the kind where you know they're just waiting for someone to ask "what's wrong" "what happened?" "are you okay?"  They're usually a cry for attention...crazy!

Your guilty pleasure?
Reality TV, magazines, Pinterest, and food.
I love food. Did I mention that already?

I tag...
Sarah from Eyeshadow Addicts Anonymous
Katie from Katie's World
Addicted to OPI
Julie from Street Lily
I also tag everyone reading this!! Let me know if you've done this tag...I'd love to check it out!

That's all of the questions! I hope you enjoyed this random personal post.
